Existing medical specialty centers of excellence on the new campus will be expanded and strengthened, and when complete will encompass a depth and breadth of clinical services unsurpassed outside the Texas Medical Center.

Among the leading-edge centers are the award-winning Heart & Vascular Institute - Memorial City, which houses multiple cardiac catheterization laboratories, the da Vinci® Surgical System, the Bobetta Lindig Breast Center, a new Women’s Center, Cancer Center, Imaging Center and an expanded Emergency Center, as well as renowned bariatrics and sports medicine programs.

Coming soon are specialty programs currently found only at Memorial Hermann’s Texas Medical Center location, including Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, Mischer Neurosurgical Associates and Memorial Hermann|TIRR.

Some 975 expert medical staff physicians cover many clinical specialties at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center.

The Memorial Hermann Tower at Memorial City is scheduled to open December 2008.
