  • This past fall, Memorial Hermann established The Sports Medicine and Human Performance Institute at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center. In December 2006, the institute will expand into new facilities in the Memorial Hermann Medical Plaza. The institute serves professional athletes from the Rockets, Comets and Aeros, as well as former athletes and weekend warriors, with all their sports medicine needs.
  • Memorial Hermann Prevention and Recovery Center is offering the innovative PROMETA™ treatment protocol as a supplement to its current treatments to address neurochemical imbalances in the brain for those with alcohol, cocaine or methamphetamine dependency.
  • Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital has added digital mammography technology to its list of innovative offerings at its Breast and Bone Health Center.
  • A family-centered approach to patient care pushed patient-satisfaction scores for Memorial Hermann Children’s Hospital into the nation’s top 2 percent. Compared with 55 other children’s hospitals nationwide, Memorial Hermann Children’s Hospital ranked in the 98th percentile.
